Short intro

Twitch is the second studio album by American rock band Ministry, released on March 12, 1986 by Sire Records. Recorded mostly in London and West Berlin during 1985, it was produced by the band's frontman Al Jourgensen and On-U Sound Records owner Adrian Sherwood. It stepped away from the synthpop-oriented form of their debut studio album With Sympathy 1983 and moved toward a darker, more aggressive sound, heavily influenced by industrial dance groups Cabaret Voltaire and Front 242. Had nearly all the other albums. 15 years later I finally give this a listen. Twitch is the second studio album by industrial metal band Ministry, released in 1986. The album stepped away from the synthpop-oriented form of their previous debut album With Sympathy 1983 and moved toward a darker, more aggressive sound in the form of EBM. Released by Sire Records, Jourgensen was granted more artistic control over the production than under AristaBMG. Twitch was re-released in 1990 with two additional tracks. Twitched, an unauthorized 2003 release by Radioactive Records, is a remastered version of Twitch, featuring the track listing that the band is said to have intended. Twitch Ministry album. Recorded in London and West Berlin during 1985, it was produced by the band's frontman Al Jourgensen and Adrian Sherwood. Twitch was released on March 12, 1986 by Sire and Warner Bros. The name Ministry brings to mind images of big, dumb guitars and arena rock sensibility. But before they created their influential third album, The Land of Rape and Honey, there was Twitch. And this album probably owes more to Front 242 than anything. The only thing remotely resembling their later music is the use of psychotic sampling that Al Jourgensen and Paul Barker will always be known for. A good example is Like You, the first track on the album. Ministry - Twitch review: The sound of Al Jourgensen finding his way To The Land of tasting minds and Psalm 69's. Twitch is full of dark, rich synths, and deep, dance-y EBM beats. To compare it to any of the other Ministry material would be a crime because it is a different breed in itself. The album opener showcases Als clean vocals perfectly with Just Like You. Its high pitched synths blend with EBM beats, best displaying the album's overall sound quality

Quality press of this copy is excellent. Beautiful glossy cover and black vinyl. One of the best press of MOV for me.Recommended.
No problems with my copy. Good inherent volume and to my ears, it sounds more textured and richer than the 1990 reissue CD. Looking forward to getting to know the album more this way.
Does anyone know if this version has the PRINTED inner sleeves ?Thanks
This copy has a standard Poly-black innersleeve and insert in a beautiful fully glossy cover.
I really apreciate it, thank you very much, i think i will stick with my original copy from SIRE.
It has a black poly lined inner sleeve but it does include a seperate insert that replicates the original printed inner sleeves. I hope that helps.
